Her job is to find these Tearers and help acclimate them to a new life on Earth. They were among the first victims of the annual tear between realms that randomly transports people from Earth and replaces them with "Tearers" from other realms. Jess Riley became an agent of the Watcher Agency in the hopes of finding her parents one day. I lose interest when there is lack of heat between the MCs unfortunately but realize that's not a deal breaker for many.

The reason I'm still adding this series to my page is because of the first book and I really do think it will be for a lot of people who enjoy paranormal. So while I can recommend the first book, I am stopping where I'm at in the series. The story seems to have gotten off track as well. While I do understand the reasoning regarding her past it still just seemed backwards. So far about 75% thru book 2 I have been surprised at how fast they declare love and then the sloooow burn after the fact. It held my attention and I looked forward to starting book 2. What happens at the end of the trilogy is explained fairly early in Broken and I would hate for the ending of Forgiven to be ruined for you.more But if you are interested in reading The Watchers Trilogy, I would recommend you not read this new series until you have finished Forgiven.
